Voted is a brand operated by an individual. Rights in its original work belong to the individual operator to the extent provided by law. The operator's legal identity and public contact details will be confirmed before public launch.

What Voted reserves

Original summaries, original charts, page design, code, and original selection and arrangement of database material may be protected by copyright where applicable law provides protection.

Except where applicable law or an applicable third-party licence permits, prior written permission is required to copy, redistribute or commercially use copyright material owned by Voted's operator. The rights holder reserves the right to seek cessation of infringement, removal of infringing material, damages and other remedies available under law.

Facts remain facts

Voted does not claim exclusive copyright in official vote counts, names or historical facts themselves. Statutory exceptions and independently granted third-party open licences continue to apply. See the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand's copyright guidance.

Third-party rights

Attribution alone does not replace permission where permission is required. Voted cannot grant rights it does not own, and does not add restrictions that conflict with an applicable upstream licence. Source records explain how each source is used.

Policy statements are summarised in original language and linked to their source. Candidate photographs, campaign images and manifesto PDFs are not mirrored on this website.

Permission and contact

Prepare a licensing enquiry with the material, intended use, audience, duration and distribution method. A report does not automatically trigger a legal notice. The contact page prepares an email for you to review and send from your own email application; it does not send automatically.
